Supervisor: Retail Pharmacy Credit Control

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB To supervise, monitor and ensure efficient collection, control and administration of funds owed to Mediclinic Pharmacies within the guidelines determined by SLA’s, policies and procedures KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS • Supervise and develop team members • Risk Management • Receipting • Credit Management • Credit Control • Retail System Coordination REQUIRED EDUCATION ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EDUCATION • Matric DESIRED EDUCATION • Accounting or bookkeeping qualification REQUIRED EXPERIENCE ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE • 3-5 years credit control DESIRED EXPERIENCE • Pharmacy or medical environment / experience working in a fast-paced retail environment. • Supervisory experience REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE • Financial knowledge (reconciliations, debit and credit notes, adjustment journals, etc.) • Debtors Days • Retail Pharmacy systems, policies and procedures • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office tools (i.e. Word, Excel) and Retail Pharmacy System All applicants will be considered, with the understanding that preference will be given in accordance with the Employment Equity Plan of Mediclinic Southern Africa, as well as internal applicants/employees that meet the minimum requirements.
